One of my very best friends, Melinda, and her husband, Matt, flew across the pond for some sight seeing...and gladly accepted our invitation to do it all in an RV. No better way to see Europe with your closest friends and family! We had a fabulous time visiting and revisiting the best cities in all of the world. The sites were breathtaking. So, this post will mostly be dedicated to pictures. We have so many of our trip from France to Italy, and back to Germany; probably better described than words.
Day 1: Burg Eltz, and Paris
The Burg
The funnest group in Europe.
LD and MJ
Kissing under the Eiffel Tower, who wouldn't?
Day 2: Paris
Standing outside the Louvre after visiting the famous "Mona Lisa" and many other paintings and sculptures. We must go back, too much to see in such little time.
Driving on L'Avenue des Champs Elysees. Parking is really difficult to find for an RV in Paris by the way.
Standing outside the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Paris.
Beautiful view of the city on the Arc de Triomphe.
Just ate at a great Italian restaurant on the Champs.
Parting our ways for a romantic evening with the hubs.
Day 3: Versailles
Walking through Marie Antoinette's villa, being silly...nuff said.
Marie Antoinette's famous portrait with the rose.
Sweet pic of my sweet boys.
Day 4: Normandy and Mont St. Michel
Normandy was our moment of silence for this memorable trip. We couldn't have traveled through France without paying tribute to our fallen soldiers who gave their own lives to save ours.
Visitor's center at the American Cemetery
Omaha Beach
The fallen
Sainte Mere-Eglise, where the paratrooper, John Steele, was caught on the spire during the drop.
Mont St. Michel. According to legend, St. Michael the Archangel appeared to St. Aubert, bishop of Avranches, in 708 and instructed him to build a church on the rocky islet. This island is very unique and interesting! Population 41.
Amazing!
Day 5: Nice
French Riviera
So NICE to be here with my family!
Addison was such a trooper the whole trip! He had a blast!
Group Shot
Beautiful sunset
Much, much more photos for your liking to come! To be continued...

wow such incredible pictures. How awesome is it that Addison can be there with you guys, you will have so many photos of him being in all these places! My favorite is the picture of his make-shift highchair of two chairs stacked together. I'll have to remember that one if we are ever in that situation, haha. You guys are so cute.
