in a cozy quilt. Addison is one week old! He is the most loveable, cuddly, adorable baby. I just can't keep my eyes off him! We are so grateful that we are his parents.
Friday, March 13th was Addison's due date and the doctor let me come to the hospital to be induced. I was so glad that he offered it to me because the last few weeks of pregnancy were totally miserable! Around ten thirty in the morning Adam and I had our bags packed and we headed over to the hospital, ready for baby Addison to make his arrival. As soon as we got there I took the inducing pill and waited...and waited for progress, but nothing really happened until three in the morning. My water broke and we headed into the delivery room where I immediately requested an epidural. You see, in Germany getting an epidural is not part of any birthing plan. But, they gave it to me and I dozed off into total heaven! After this moment of bliss, I was ready to push. One hour later Addison Knox came into the world! It's so wonderful to have such a little baby become the biggest blessing in your life. We absolutely love him!

Lauren, that quilt is beautiful!... and so is Addison! Hope your getting used to being a Mommy...
Your pictures are adorable! Can you guys come over here in a few weeks and be our photographers? Love the blankie!
Epidurals are definitely wonderful as long as they work! He is so cute!
Your baby is so adorable- he is one of the best looking kids I've ever seen!!! Congrats- we are so excited for you!
Yeah, I heart epidurals! I designed my announcements on scrapblog.com, but the prints of it that I had done on both snapfish.com and walmart.com didn't come out too well. Maybe you would have more luck, though!
Congratulations. He is so adorable. I'm so Jealous, not that I would want to go through the pregnancy part again, but I do miss having a baby around the house. Don't forget to post lots more pictures, we want constant updates.
Congratulations! Congratulations! Lauren, you look great and your Addison is adorable. So glad he's doing well. We miss you guys and wish we could be there to hold him, he does look snugly.
P.S. How do you know Nie? My sister was friends with them.
The quilt is gorgeous! The baby in it is even better though! What an adorable boy. I'm glad everything went well during your induction. I think I'm going to be induced here in a couple weeks. I hope motherhood is treating you good. It looks like it is so far! Congrats again!
