Adam and I finally arrived in our new hometown... Heidelberg, Germany! We've actually been here for about three weeks now, but haven't had time to post a blog since. The time we've spent here so far has been wonderful! We've seen so many of our old friends, and made new ones too! It is such a small world when you are in the Army because no matter where you go, you will find familiar faces. We have felt so welcome in our new environment!
Our new home is just minutes from downtown Heidelberg and right down the road from Adam's work. We are in the perfect location! It is so fun to walk down the streets of Heldelberg this time of year because of all the Christmas Markets! It is beautiful and the atmosphere is wonderful! Everywhere we go, we can feel the "spirit of Christmas". There are lots of shops and little boutiques that we love going to! The resturants are delicious too! We are so happy to be here together, but miss all our friends and family back home. We will post more pictures soon! We can't wait for you to see the beautiful city we are living in! Start booking your flights and come visit!

I love the new look on your blog. You'll definitely have to get one of those "pyramids" for your home (I think that's what it is called). My sis-in-law has one and adores it.
Yay! I'm glad you made it and things are going good. Sounds like you live in a great area. Can't wait to see more pics and hear how life is going in Germany! I hope you are feeling good and the pregnancy is going well. Keep us posted!!!

Your so lucky. I miss Europe this time of year. Growing up it was always a tradition to go to the Christmas market. Can't wait to see more pictures.
