Picture Tag

I couldn't decide what to make a post on today, mostly because there is nothing really too exciting to blog about. Although I shouldn't be taking any breaks in preparing ourselves for our big move to Germany, I thought a few minutes for this post would be okay...except when this post became just a little bit longer than a few minutes. But, here goes:

What makes you smile (today):

Flowers. From my sweet husband...just because.

My favorite room:

The bedroom. My absolute favorite room in the house. Where I can come in, rest, relax, and get my beauty sleep.

The bathroom:

Walls textured and painted by yours truly. Another great room in the house.

My favorite shoes:

Worn to my favorite places with my favorite people. I've walked many many steps in these shoes both near and far!

The project:

A sneek peek of the quilt I am making for our baby boy. I completed the top, now to finish the rest...hoping to be done before the move, along with the crib skirt and bumper too.

Self Portrait:

Here I am. 18 weeks prego...maybe looking a little more pregnant than I really am, just because of the top I am wearing. I just made it, and decided it was cute enough to wear for my portrait!

I tag Melinda, Megan, Megan H, Allison, and Rebecca. Anyone else who feels like giving it a try is also added to this tag. I know, I know you can't wait to do it!

As for me...time to start the declutter process and get ready to put our condo on the market.

Lauren! You are too cute! And can I say, Martha Stewart! I had no idea you were such a seamstress.. any designs you feel like duplicating, let me know, I'll order some! lol.. I love the baby quilt..Is the crib bedding going to match it? It's adorable and one of a kind.. I love it! Don't work too hard getting ready for the move! You're almost halfway to having the baby, can you believe it!?!

You're a busy girl! The quilt looks amazing! I didn't realize how crafty you were. Good job! And you look great! I'm starting to get a belly that is noticable. I'm not too excited, actually. I'm in that wierd phase between looking fat and possibly pregnant. Ugh! Well, good luck with your move. It's quite a move. It will be so fun though. Are you nervous about delivering a baby there?

Hey cutie! Your house is so nice, and I wish I lived closer to you so you could teach me how to sew better! Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, do you have softward to do the photo collages and captions that you put on here? I'd like to learn how to do stuff like that, too. Email me sometime!
