My Photographic Journal of my trip to California:

All the family that arrived for Grandma's funeral Thursday morning. The funeral was short and sweet. Aunt Debbie gave her eulogy that was very tender and brought everyone to tears. My dad reassured us that she is in the loving arms of our Father in Heaven. It was a wonderful celebration of her life.

The girls! These are the cousins who were able to make it to the funeral! I love these ladies and am so glad I was able to reunite with them after almost ten years!

Grandma loved her housecoats! After looking in her closet, we found over 20! We couldn't help but dress up in them and make a housecoat tribute to her! The men loved it as much as we did, but begged us not to take any home in fear that we may follow in her footsteps a little too soon!

Here are my brothers and dad at the burial site in the National Cemetery where soldiers and their wives are layed to rest. While overlooking the burial at the top of the mountain, I had to stop to take this picture of the boys and their shout out to Grandpa...all dressed in his favorite shirts!

When you are in California you have to stop at IN-N-OUT burger! They make classic hamburgers and cheeseburgers...and you can make requests for your burgers, like "animal style"! Not really sure what it means, but that's what my brothers ordered. They make fries fresh from the potato with the press right at the restaurant and they have the best shakes as well! We love it!

I love these boys! I couldn't have asked for better brothers!

Sorry to hear about your grandma. It's always nice though, when it can be a time of celebration instead of so much saddness. The gospel is true! Looks like you had a good time despite the situation! Great pics!
CONGRATS!!! Um, so I have been out of the loop since having my baby 3 weeks ago... but I am so excited you are expecting, and a boy! Oh, they're so fun. And you're moving to Germany? For how long? Are you going to have the baby in Germany? Good luck with everything!
Email me and I will reply back with my address. My email is snshnrn@hotmail.com
That's a good picture of the men in your family. Sorry I can't say the same for all the housecoat ladies (hehe). I am glad you got to go. I hope I get to see you before you take off to Germany and I don't get to see you for a while. I don't think I knew you were headed to Germany before reading the blog. How long will you be there?
Cute pic!
