These are the two fabrics I chose:

After lots of cutting and tying, this is how the blanket turned out:
Not too bad and super easy.
If you feel like being crafty and making one too, here are the instructions:
Materials needed:
-1 to 1 1/2 yards of two fleece fabrics
-Scissors
-Tape measure or ruler
-one 5" x 5" piece of paper
Blanket instructions:
-Take your two pieces of fleece. Put one piece on top of the other lining up the edges so they are even.
-Trim off any selvage around the edges of your fleece
-Take your piece of 5"x5" paper lay it on the corner of your blanket. Then cut out the corner through both layers. Proceed to do this on all four corners.
-Now you are ready to cut your fringes. Cut 5 inches into both fleeces at 1" wide. -Cut 1" intervals on all four sides.
-Starting on one side tie over hand knots.
Wallah! You're done!

Wow! Super cute. I love the way it turned out. That was a super fast project.
I love these kind of blankets. They are so easy, but so warm and comfy! My kids love them too. Sam still sleeps with the one I made her when she was baby. Well, good job! Looks great!
Wow! That is absolutely adorable. I think if I tried to make a blanket like that it would be a complete mess, but hey, maybe I'll give it a try one day. Thanks for the directions.
